Think The World Owes You Anything?
Picture out the future you have been wanting and dreaming of. Maybe it's a future where you have more freedom, where you're doing something you're passionate about instead of pulling long work hours boxed in a cubicle, and where worrying about money is a thing of the past. If you're not in the place you want to be, ask yourself this What actions have you taken? What are you actually doing to get to that future? Or … Are you resorting to old habits of slacking off, refusing to push the limits you've placed on your abilities. How do you expect that future to become a reality if you aren’t willing to work for it? It’s time to consider if your sense of entitlement is pulling you back. For the ones who feel that the world owes you something, there's no easy way to say this, but the truth is, the world doesn't owe you anything. You can argue and even get angry, but this fact remains. Did you ever think of showing up like this person? 3 jobs and on the verge of resigning to the thought that his future is bleak and it's been sealed. But he turned himself around. He now sees his future in entrepreneurship and he's willing to evolve and keep chipping away at the boulders blocking his path to the future he wants. It is you who owe yourself something.
